I really, really loved the first story, The Boys Next Door, by Jennifer Echols, because it reminded me so much of my own "tomboy" summers I spent at my cottage! Lori's plans to catch Sean's eye over the summer are always going awry, and by the end of the summer she manages to catch the "wrong" boy. But Adam has loved Lori forever and in the second story Endless Summer, things begin to fall apart for Lori and Adam, when an innocent mistake causes dire consequences with their respective parents and eventually causes a rift between them. As the end of summer draws closer, Adam and Lori try to work their way back to each other and Lori's plans for getting Adam back end up getting her into more trouble.
