My Book Boyfriend (3)

My Book Boyfriend is a weekly meme hosted by Missie of The Unread Reader, in which we swoon over boys in books!
(I--as in me, Amy--don't like to use commercial photos, I like to use the authors' descriptions and my imagination.)

Derek Souza

Book: The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong

Series: The Darkest Powers

A werewolf standing at six feet tall with wide shoulders and dark hair that hangs in his face. He has piercing green eyes and although he might still be considered a teenager, he definitely has the body of a well toned man -- sculpted chest and well defined six-pack abdominal muscles to make any girl swoon. His strength can get away from him sometimes, but only in cases where he is protecting someone he cares for. Intelligent and always questioning, he is unwilling to swallow the lies given to them at Lyle House and takes it upon himself to help the others escape, even if it means that he must remain behind.

Quotes:

"It's okay, Chloe. I'm right here. Keep going."

He shrugged. "Sure. Concerned. You know." He couldn't even look me in the eye when he said it. "Yeah, we need you, but I do want to help a fellow supernatural." He snuck a glance my way. "We gotta stick together."

  2. I love it when a guy is all about self sacrifice. I haven't 'met' Derek yet, but sounds like I need to soon.
