He's half fey, his eyes are green, viridian-bright, but with textures swirling within that look like fresh moss on the bark of a tree. Toffee-colored hair is short at the back and longer on top so that it falls choppily into his eyes. His skin is smooth and golden, and his mouth is wide with a full bottom lip. He has a vaguely British accent with a touch of Bostonian around the vowels and something else too, something a little more exotic. Broad-shouldered, his muscles are lean and sculpted and his waist tapers neatly to the top of his jeans.

"You're in the clear, Donna Underwood. I'm certainly no angel." A smile spread slowly across his face.

Xan pushed hair back from his face, his golden cheeks flushed with more than just the heat of his coffee. "Why do you hide them? You can see why I wouldn't want to advertise my scars. But yours? They're beautiful."

"Actually," he replied, "I'd say spending time with you has given me some of the best moments of my life." His face was totally sincere, but Donna couldn't help the look she gave him. Did he really think that? Flustered, she said the first thing that came into her head. "Yeah, because I'm so special." Xan frowned. "Don't do that." "Do what?" "Put yourself down. You shouldn't do that, Donna." She shrugged, uncomfortable having so much focus put on her. "Well, I can't see how hanging out with me has been too fun. Okay, if you're going to define 'fun' as getting attacked by elves and having to face the worst possible crap that feeds your nightmares, then maybe you'd be right." His eyes glinted in the near darkness. "You left out the part where the guy gets to kiss the beautiful girl."
