My Book Boyfriend (43)

My Book Boyfriend is a weekly meme hosted by Missie of The Unread Reader, in which we swoon over boys in books!
(I--as in me, Amy--don't like to use commercial photos, I like to use the authors' descriptions and my imagination.)

Cord Elliot
Book: Remember Summer by Elizabeth Lowell
Series: N/A

He's thirty-five, works for the government on anti-terrorist missions and also protects important government officials. Hidden beneath an impassive expression is a ruthless, sweeping intelligence. His face is angular with ice-blue eyes and sensual lips; his body is hard and warm, quick and dangerous, and his hair is thick and black. Long, lean fingers, strong shoulders and legs, steady hands and six-foot plus in height.

Quotes:

"It's all right," he murmured, smoothing her tangled hair with his palm. He tucked her head against his chest, holding her close without really confining her. Comfort not captivity. "I won't hurt you. And I'm damned sorry I frightened you. You're safe with me, always. I promise you, Raine."

He needed her. The certainty of that need shook him all the way to his soul.

  1. Awe. That first quote is so heart felt! I can see a total hero complex in Cord, and I like it!
