Month In Review: September

Sorry I'm a bit late this month folks! My new job is keeping me busy and I finally had a little time to sit down while my turkey is cooking (today is our Canadian Thanksgiving), and put my thoughts down about the books I read last month.

Books I read and their "Dragon Hearts of Love" rating:
(For reviews, please go to "Books Read in 2012")

1. The Flower Bowl Spell by Olivia Boler 3
I thought that the mixture of cultures and magick mythologies was really unique and I thoroughly enjoyed the characters.

2. Almost Final Curtain by Tate Hallaway 3
I really like the use of vampires and witches in this series, and I’m looking forward to reading more.

3. Betrayed by Love by Diana Palmer/The Rough and Ready Rancher by Kathie DeNosky 4
I read the Diana Palmer story years ago, but Kathie’s work was new to me, and I absolutely fell in love with her characters, I’ll definitely be looking for more of her work in the future.

4. Balkan Magic by Emigh Cannaday {DNF}
I tried to enjoy this book, I really did. The premise sounded so interesting, but I just couldn’t form a connection to the story at all.

5. Bad Taste in Boys by Carrie Harris 4
I loved the main character because she was completely honest, and she had that loveable goofiness that you just can’t help feeling a connection to.

6. Fate Succumbs by Tammy Blackwell 5
What an incredible ending, to an incredible trilogy! The romance was unexpected and endearing, and the danger was intense.

7. Faithful by Janet Fox 3
This was a romantic story about a girl discovering herself, and the vivid imagery the author uses to describe the backdrop of the book was beautiful.
