My Book Boyfriend (39)

My Book Boyfriend is a weekly meme hosted by Missie of The Unread Reader, in which we swoon over boys in books!
(I--as in me, Amy--don't like to use commercial photos, I like to use the authors' descriptions and my imagination.)

Evan Karkadann
Book: Drink, Slay, Love by by Sarah Beth Durst
Series: N/A

He is a were-unicorn with the power to heal. He's got a Good Samaritan hero-complex that makes him all the more attractive. Clear black eyes, and when sunlight touched his hair, it looks as if the black strands are laced with tiny gems. A deep, silky voice, muscular build and a noticeably attractive butt. He writes poetry and is sensitive, but he can be a tough enemy to cross if you try to hurt the people he cares about.

Quotes:

He sat beside her. "Pearl...I'll do whatever I can to help." His eyes were intense and serious, and she found herself wanting to believe him. She also found herself wishing he'd put his arms around her so she could bury her face against him. The feeling was so strong and so unnatural that she recoiled from him. He added, "And I will never hurt you."

Evan smiled at her, the kind of smile that erased everyone else. She had the unsettling feeling that he knew what she'd been thinking, that she'd chosen to let him be her knight in shining armor.
