1. Darker Still by Leanna Renee Hieber 4
This book was creepy in a gothic/haunted sort of way, I loved the romance between the hero and heroine and enjoyed the reversal of roles: where Natalie was the one to save Lord Denbury.
2. Red Moon Rising by Peter Moore 4
The world was gritty and the characters were honest and interesting. The ending left me wanting more, so I can only hope that Danny's story will continue in the future.
3. Body and Soul by Stacey Kade 5
The conclusion to the Ghost and the Goth trilogy, I fell in love with the characters in the first book and was sad to see them come to an end, but it was a GREAT end.
4. The Faerie Ring by Kiki Hamilton 5
With vivid storytelling and interesting characters, this book pulled me in from the very first page and I'm excited to read more in this series.
5. Destiny Theory by Sarah King 3
A completely different writing style than what I am used to, but once I became accustomed to it, I really enjoyed the storyline.
6. Haunted by Joy Preble 3
An amazing story of Russian folklore mixed into the modern-day world. This book was filled with magic and danger. I can't wait to see what happens to these characters next.
7. Wyoming Fierce by Diana Palmer 3
I was a little upset to recognize this exact storyline from one of Diana's previous novels. Little things were changed, but it was little more than déjà vu for me.
8. Forgiven by Janet Fox 3
I didn't enjoy this one as much as I did the companion book: Faithful, but the vivid storytelling kept me interested.
9. The Wood Queen by Karen Mahoney 4
This is such a complex world that it grabbed my attention and held on tight throughout it's pages. The final book to this trilogy cannot get here fast enough.
10. Queene of Light by Jennifer Armintrout 3
While the world was interesting and well built, I would have liked to see more done with the characters, they sometimes felt stilted to me which made this book good, but not great in my eyes.
11. Haunted by Dana Michelle Burnett 3
A short, but chilling story. As much as I dislike the characters I like them even more! I'm looking forward to seeing just how this tragic love story will end.
