Sundays with Sarah (7)

To find out more about Sarah and this feature go here.

Hi Everyone, well I was on hiatus for the past 2 weeks doing lots of interesting and fun things with my kids.

As everyone knows its summer which means time to travel. I would like to take the time to showcase an incredible place called ALBERTA. Alberta is located in western Canada, bounded by the provinces of British Columbia to the west and Saskatchewan to the east, the Northwest Territories to the north, and the US state of Montana to the south. Alberta is one of three Canadian provinces and territories to border only a single U.S. state and is also one of only two provinces that are landlocked.

I myself live in Edmonton, the capital city of Alberta which has one of the longest trail systems in Canada for biking and hiking.

So why visit Alberta?

Aside from being the greenest province, we are also the province with the most festivals in one place than anywhere else in the world. With an average of 144 festivals a year ranging from the very small to the grand master of them all...Capital Exhibition.

Capital Exhibition

The Capital Exhibition is Alberta’s biggest outdoor amusement park showcase, with the Calgary Stampede being second.

Edmonton has many great places to eat and stay whether you’re traveling alone or with family.
